At Heredad Beragu, we place great importance on sustainability, which is why, together with other hotels and rural accommodations, we have launched a new five-year circularity plan.
This circularity plan aims to neutralize our carbon footprint and reduce waste generation through various sustainable practices. It revolves around four fundamental pillars for the participating establishments: the use of locally sourced food (in our case, we have our own vegetable garden), the use of durable and sustainably sourced materials, and the promotion of energy and water conservation measures.
As we have mentioned previously, our hotel is built on ecologically sound land, and its construction used 90% recycled materials from the previous demolition. The Heredad Beragu experience itself is sustainable, as the hotel has only nine rooms, ensuring that this project is not invasive to the environment. Furthermore, the hotel’s creation has generated numerous jobs, fostering local employment.
The company has received a grant under the call for subsidies for the renewal of electrical appliances in tourism businesses. Recovery and Resilience Plan – funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU.
